Research Support Handbook
8th Handbook Hackathon
Handbook
Hackathon
On July 7, 2026, all authors participated in the eighth hackathon for the Research Support Handbook. For this hackathon, our initial plan was to focus on Tools documentation, but we worked on other parts of the website as well.
Overview of results
With respect to tools, we did the following:
- We updated Yoda documentation (see below for specifics)
- We did small updates in the Snellius and Research Drive information
We checked external links and found a number of broken links, which have all been repaired now.
We published two new topics: Research Software Management and Version Control.
A group of colleagues is working on information about AI and LLMs, including advice on how to use AI tools responsibly. This is work in progress, it has not been published yet. We’ll keep you posted.
